During your visit, Dr. Minniti will examine your breasts and implement a personalized surgical plan. The most common way to correct breast asymmetry is through breast augmentation surgery (“augmentation mammoplasty”) with either an asymmetric lift or unilateral lift (“mastopexy”). Using either saline or silicone gel breast implants, Dr. Minniti can provide patients with even-sized breasts and more youthful appearances. He often opts to insert a larger size in the smaller breast and a smaller implant in the other breast, depending on the patient’s condition.

When undergoing breast enhancement surgery, Dr. Minniti can use a variety of incision locations, including around the nipple (periareolar); in the breast crease (inframammary); in the armpit (transaxillary); or in the bellybutton (transumbilical or TUBA).
